All On Four Surgeries
It is a method that we apply in All On Four patients when implants cannot be applied due to bone loss in the lower or upper jaw. For example, it may seem impossible to implant in our patients who have lost their chewing teeth in the mandible and have lost the bone tissue to which the chewing teeth are attached. In such cases, we resort to the all-on-four technique.
All on four is a surgical procedure in which temporary teeth are placed on the same day, which are placed only in the anterior region with two vertical and two 45 degree angles. A total of four implants are applied, but two implants are angled. The advantage of this application is that the patient leaves our Gebze dental clinic with a temporary prosthesis or even a fixed temporary prosthesis. During the healing period, the teeth are in the mouth. When healing occurs, the construction of the real prosthesis is started. It is a very good alternative for posterior regions where no implants can be made.
