Wisdom teeth often requires surgical extraction because these teeth are usually embedded in the jaw, they have not fully become visible. This condition requires the cutting of bone and tissue. The extraction of broken teeth, root tips or teeth with long curved roots are other examples that require surgical extraction. There are also cases when the bone around the tooth thickens, which results in surgical treatment.
